YWSP workshop now booking at Flatford Mill
10th February, 2016
‘Write Nights’, a programme of four creative writing workshops organised by YWSP, will take place on Tuesday evenings in February and March at the historic Flatford Mill in Suffolk, the setting of some of John Constable’s most iconic paintings.
Write Nights is open to 11-16 year olds and runs from 7-9pm on 23rd February, 1st, 8th and 15th March 2016. Running in association with The Apricot Centre as part of their ‘Digging and Delving in the Dedham Vale’ series of events, Write Nights will be led by local writer and educator Elizabeth Ferretti, and have been organised by YWSP creative director Alan Caig Wilson. The sessions will show young writers the inspirational potential of real-life places, land, people and events, through a number of specially devised activities, games and thinktasks, all in the inspirational setting of the Field Studies Centre at the beautiful Flatford Mill on the river Stour.
The course of four sessions costs £25. For bookings and further information, please go to the Dedham Vale/Stour Valley website, or email info@apricotcentre.co.uk, or call 01206 230425.
