The 2023 Prize

The 2023 Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction winner, Lucy Caldwell’s These Days, was announced on 15th June 2023 at the Borders Book Festival, followed by a Colloquium celebrating and discussing the shortlist and historical fiction genre at Bowhill House on 16th June.  A gallery of photos from the events can be viewed here.
