YWSP 2015 entries flood in

The Young Walter Scott Prize 2015 is now closed, and the judges are assessing a splendid range of stories and accounts sent in from writers aged 11 – 19 across the UK.  We’ve been delighted with the breadth of entries, with stories set in every timespan from ancient history to most recent times, and in many different parts of the world.  You really did rise to our question ‘When In The World?’ !

The winners of the 2015 prize will be announced in March 2016, but in the meantime watch this space for news of the 2016 prize opening for entries, which will also be this Spring.  We’ll have lots of new advice and inspiration for writers on this website, but in the meantime check out our Inspirations page now to get your creative juices flowing.
